Educational research is clear: to positively impact teacher practices and student learning, educators must participate in professional learning that is focused on practice, knowledge based, ongoing, and chosen to meet an educator's individual needs. The Nevada Collaboratory has designed unique professional learning opportunities that match the characteristics recommended by educational research.
